DREW AND ABBEY

DREW
&
ABBEY

THE WEDDING

SUNDAY, APRIL 12th 2026

Festive revelers of the world unite in celebration of the love Drew and Abbey have found!

Join us in a lush, secret garden hidden in the heart of New Orleans.

A place where towering sunflowers, wandering jasmine and bleating baby goats await you.

Where nature and creativity merge, like street parades winding their way to the banks of the Mississippi.

In this oasis of color and sound, of the sacred and surreal, every guest will become a part of our joyful procession.

THE VENUE

Paradigm Gardens is an outdoor venue located in the Central City neighborhood of New Orleans, five minutes from the French Quarter, Lower Garden District and Central Business District.

THE THEME:
AVANT GARDEN

Cocktail Attire meets Secret Garden Masquerade. Botanicals as Muse. Fantastical Bayou Creatures. Nature's Night Out.

DRESS CODE

Come adorned as if David Bowie and Frida Kahlo summoned
you to a Renaissance Fair in the bayou.

Think vibrant hues and wild colors of nature, florals and feathers, masks and cocktail attire crossed with Caribbean Carnival and New Orleans Avant Garde.

Embrace organic, upcycled creativity over fancy and purchased.

Think of the long history of how communities have humbly come together to craft an atmosphere of love, joy and celebration.

Let the shapes and textures of the natural world guide your imagination.

Or just arrive in your favorite fine ensemble and let us hand you a mask to wear and a flower to put in your lapel or hair!

Whether subtle or extravagant, let your outfit be an
offering to the night.

RECOMMENDED STAYS

The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery

A creative, art-driven hotel with strong ties to local artists, including a suite that recently featured Drew’s art. It offers a boutique feel, sits close to the French Quarter and is only a quick ride to Paradigm Gardens.

The Barnett - JDV by Hyatt

An easygoing spot in the CBD with modern rooms and a location that puts you close to streetcars, good food and the rhythm of the city. It works well for guests who prefer a familiar brand and straightforward comfort.

Catahoula New Orleans

A cozy, design-forward hideaway set in a restored Creole townhouse with a lovely courtyard and a low-key rooftop bar. It’s great for guests who like a more intimate stay with personality.

QUESTIONS

THE VENUE

Paradigm Gardens is a fully outdoor space, wheelchair friendly and accessible by car, taxi and rideshare.

It's conveniently located within five minutes of the French Quarter, Lower Garden District and Central Business District.

There is a parking lot behind the venue as well as street parking, but rideshare services like Lyft are always a good idea!

THE FEAST

The open-air, wood-fire kitchen will be serving a delicious farm-to-fork feast including fresh ingredients grown on site.

Everything is prepared in real time with a spread of options designed to meet all dietary needs.

There will be adult beverages while also being a sober-friendly celebration.

THE ACCOMMODATIONS

We recognize that everyone has different preferences in their 'stay styles', so instead of blocking rooms we've made a range of hotel recommendations (above!) and can answer any questions you might have!

THE KIDDOS

Take the night off and leave the little ones at home! Get ready for the best adults-only wedding you'll ever go to.

For those traveling who might need sitter support, reach out and we can help connect you with some options!

THE DRESS CODE

The people are what makes a party and we consider each of you to be the most stunning additions to this little love parade. Whatever your take on 'Cocktail Attire meets Avant Garden' is, your efforts are truly appreciated!

For those who live in or love New Orleans, dig out your favorite flair that fits the bill. Think St. Anne's meets Secret Garden!

For those who are visiting, consider this your initiation as an honorary New Orleanian! Mother Nature is wild, so grab your glue gun and have fun!

And for anyone who doesn't know where to start - fret not!

Don't miss that link in the Dress Code section (above!) that takes you to inspiration, tips and tutorials. But of course, we're always here for any questions and more than happy to help with creative jumpstarts!

THE PHONES

We kindly ask that during the ceremony, phones are put away so everyone can be fully present.

Our photographers will capture the magic and everyone there to celebrate with us!

REGISTRY

We are beyond grateful to be celebrating our wedding with you and deeply appreciate you coming from far and wide. It takes a lot to be here so your attendance is already a gift!

We're lucky enough to have everything we need for this new chapter together, but for those who would like, we have thoughtfully put together a way to help make our honeymoon special or a chance to support an organization in our community that we both care about.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

THANK YOU!

We can't wait to see you, celebrate and make memories together.

With love and excitement,

Drew & Abbey

The Peace of Wild Things

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

+ Hogs for the Cause (BBQ x Music Fest fundraising event for pediatric cancer) is April 10th - 11th.
+ French Quarter Fest starts April 16th - 19th.
+ You're in luck -- it's crawfish season! Make sure to get some while you're here.
+ If you have a hankering for beignets and the line is around the block at Cafe du Monde, try Cafe Beignet or Loretta's.
+ If you're interested in Bourbon Street, we recommend making it an earlier-in-the-day visit.
+ Street Car fare is $1.25 in exact change or download the Le Pass app to prepay passes
+ Unless you’re planning to visit areas outside of New Orleans, we highly recommend sticking with Lyft, Uber and Taxis over renting a car.

+ So much of the magic in New Orleans happens on the way to the thing you were headed to, so be sure to leave some room for wandering and let the city surprise you!
